Liana Paniyeva, pianist

Liana Paniyeva was born in Azerbaijan.Most recently,Liana graduated from Manhattan School of Music ,where she was a scholarship student in the  Professional
Studies Program in the class of Phillip Kawin).
Liana Paniyeva has garnered numerous prizes including: Winner of the International competitions in memory of E.Gilels (3d prize, Ukraine), International competition in memory of S .Prokofiev (1st prize, Ukraine), International competition in memory of A. Karamanova (2nd prize), The Voice of Music  (Israel), International Competition in Italy "Music World" (1st prize).  Performed concerts and festivals: international festivals in Norway, Hungary, Syria, Italy ,Israel and Austria. Liana participated at the Tel-Hai International Masterclasses in Israel, where she met such notable musician as Emanuel Krasovsky, who took an active interest in her artistic development, advising her to pursue her studies in New York with Mr.Phillip Kawin at Manhattan School of Music.
