Kelly Ho, pianist

Kelly Ho was born at Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She started piano at the age of 5 and gave her first public performance at the age of 6. She studied at Shin-Yi Elementary Music School (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) with Jun-Hui Du, and went on to studying at the Central Conservatory of Music Piano Academy Gulangyu, (Xiamen, China) with Hui-li Li.

 In 2005 she received the “Best Performance of Taiwanese Repertoire” in the Young Musician International Competition - Citta di Barlettain Taiwan. She was invited to perform as a featured solo artist at the Taiwan Art Vision Festival in 2006. In 2008, she won second prize in the Taiwan National Piano Competition held by the Board of Education by the Taiwanese government. Most recently, she gave solo piano recitals in Xiamen (China), Kaohsiung and Taipei (Taiwan) in 2011.
